Hard to believe, but this is technically our first Fishing Report, after a year. Guess we have been busy. Cloudy and possible rain today should make it really good. Baetis are still going in the afternoon until late. They come off about 2:30 p.m. Try Split Flag dries, PT soft hackles and Little Green Machines and Juju Baetis for nymphs. March Browns are waning, if not done. The water has warmed up enough that caddis are really starting to work. Hydropsyche are thick at times. Double Duck, Bloom's Caddis and Harrop anything are crushin' em. To give you a taste of the weather, check out the pic from this a.m. above the Pump Hole. Still the same clouds and calm wind. At 1:30 the 10 minute average was only 3 mph. Awesome. Wish you were here, rather than reading this blog? Stop by and see us, and we'll help make it happen. Kirk.
